This notice describes information handled through lockeladder.com, its consultation forms, analytics, and chat tools. It does not invent fixed deletion, breach-notice, or security promises that depend on a specific request, record, contract, or law.
1. Information you choose to provide
When you request a consultation, call, email, or use chat, we may receive the information you submit. The website forms ask for your name, email address, phone number, and meeting preference. The longer form can also include a property address, service and project path, concerns, and project notes.
Do not submit Social Security numbers, payment-card details, bank information, medical information, or other sensitive records through the website forms or chat.
2. Information collected when you use the site
- Google Analytics 4: the site uses Google Analytics to measure visits and interactions. Google says its default implementation collects user and session statistics, approximate location, and browser/device information, and can store a random client identifier in the first-party
_gacookie. See Google Analytics data collection. - HighLevel / LeadConnector CRM and External Tracking: after you submit a consultation form, a first-party server endpoint sends the information you provided, the form and landing-page context, campaign attribution when present, and a submission reference to Locke & Ladder’s HighLevel account. HighLevel’s browser external-tracking script also records the page activity and form submission so it can appear in HighLevel’s external-form reporting.
- HighLevel / LeadConnector chat: pages that display the chat widget can send the messages and contact details you enter to HighLevel so Locke & Ladder can respond.
- Hosting and security logs: the site host and network providers can process request information such as IP address, requested URL, browser/device details, time, and diagnostic or security events needed to deliver and protect the site.
3. How we use information
- respond to a consultation, quote, project, warranty, or service request;
- route the request to the appropriate office or team member;
- prepare for an inspection or consultation using the details you supplied;
- operate, measure, troubleshoot, and protect the website and forms;
- maintain business records and comply with applicable legal obligations.
4. Where information goes
Website form submissions are sent through a first-party server endpoint to Locke & Ladder’s configured customer-relationship or automation service. A confirmation is shown only after that service accepts the request. HighLevel can process chat messages and activity from pages carrying its tools. Google processes analytics data. Hosting, communications, security, professional-adviser, and project-service providers may process information when necessary to perform work for Locke & Ladder.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people or property, or in connection with a business transaction. Locke & Ladder does not sell contact-form information for money.
5. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the request, project, recordkeeping, dispute, security, and legal purposes that apply to it. Retention settings and backup periods can differ among Locke & Ladder, HighLevel, Google, the site host, and other providers.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information and service. No website, transmission, vendor, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
6. Your choices and requests
- You can browse without submitting a consultation form or chat message.
- You can limit or delete cookies through your browser. Blocking scripts or cookies can affect analytics, chat, or other site functions.
- Google provides information about its Analytics privacy controls and browser opt-out option.

There is no uniform browser “Do Not Track” standard, and this site does not promise that every vendor script responds to DNT in the same way. Browser and device privacy controls remain available.
7. Children
This site is intended for property owners and people researching exterior work, not children. We do not knowingly use the site to collect information from children. Contact us if you believe a child submitted information so the request can be reviewed and handled as required.
8. Updates
We may update this notice when the website, vendors, forms, or practices change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
