HOW TO FILE AN INSURANCE CLAIM

PHASE 1 - File a claim with your insurance company
- Have a qualified contractor come perform an inspection to qualify the damages
- The Date of loss will be the date the storm occurred
- The kind of Loss will be wind or hail (sometimes both)
- If asked, let your claims representative know your cost of repair will exceed your deductible
- Insurance company will give you a claim number
PHASE 2 – Note your claim number and provide it to your Locke & Ladder representative
- An Adjuster will be assigned to your claim
- Please provide your Adjuster’s name and phone number so we can ask or answer any questions he/she may have
- Adjuster will set a date and time to complete the inspection of your home
PHASE 3 – Let your Locke & Ladder representative know the date/time to meet the adjuster at your home
We’ll meet adjuster to help define the scope of loss and advocate for you.
After you receive the scope of loss from your Insurance Company, we schedule a consultation with you to discuss your product options and aesthetic choices.
