The decision

The roof, siding, and flat-roof areas each have their own installation rules, but their transitions share one water path. Malarkey Vista in Natural Wood set the roof field; the published photos document the mixed surfaces and the points where the scopes meet.

The scope drivers

  • Coordinate shingle roofing with mixed siding areas instead of separating scopes.
  • Account for flat-roof tie-ins before the main roof work closed up.
  • Use the Natural Wood roof color as part of the exterior palette.
  • Document visible elevations and closer transition details.
  • Keep the finished exterior cohesive from the street and side approaches.

What changed

The finished photos show the roof, siding, and flat-roof areas together. The public record does not include the contract price, project dates, material-by-elevation rationale, or a customer quote.
