Installation details
Matching slate, hip and ridge components follow the main roof. Grace ice-and-water membrane covers the eaves, roof-wall unions, penetrations, valleys and low-slope transitions. Permeable synthetic underlayment covers the primary roof deck.
Copper W-valleys use copper fasteners with ice-and-water membrane below and across both edges. Copper counterflashing joins the roof to the masonry, with step and counterflashing at the chimneys.
The drainage includes half-round copper gutters, round downspouts and copper gutter apron. Low-slope sections use a base-and-cap modified-bitumen assembly.
